KIPP Academy Lynn is a free, public middle school that will serve 5th, 6th,7th and 8th grade students in the 2007-2008 school year.

Open enrollment will begin for the 2008-2009 school year. To download an application, please click in English or en Español. Please deliver the application to the school or email to newstudents@kipplynn.org. The lottery for student selection will be held on March 15, 2008.

We accept students on a first come, first served basis and by lottery when overenrolled. Students of all ability levels are welcome. We do not require entrance exams or teacher recommendations for admission.

KIPP Academy Lynn's academic program is focused on college preparation, with an emphasis on Math and Reading, as well as an experiential education component.

Students are expected to wear a uniform, which consists of a KIPP Academy Lynn shirt or sweatshirt and khakis, jeans or other regular pants. KIPP apparel is available for purchase through the school.

School starts at the beginning of August and runs through June. The school day is from 7:20 to 5:00 Monday through Thursday and from 7:20 to 3:00 on Fridays. Also, we will have school approximately two Saturdays per month, from 9:00 to 1:00. For a current calendar, please click here.

KIPP Academy Lynn students are selected through a random lottery. No student shall be discriminated against in admission to KIPP Academy Lynn Charter School on the basis of race, color or national origin, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, age, ancestry, special needs, proficiency in the English language or a foreign language, athletic ability, or academic achievement. Additionally no student shall be discriminated against in obtaining the advantages, privileges or access to the courses of study offered by KIPP Academy Lynn on the basis of race, color or national origin, ethnicity, religion, gender or sexual orientation.
