Directions to KAL
KAL is located at 25 Bessom Street in The Holy Family Church. The school is in the building to the left of the church as you face the church. Please park on the perimeter as the parking lot is our sports area. When you arrive, you may enter through the brown double doors. Please check in at the front desk on your left for a visitor’s badge.

DRIVING from Boston via Route 1-A
  1. Take 1-A North from Boston as if you are headed to Logan Airport (exit 20 off of 93 N). Do not enter Logan Airport, stay to the left - Rte. 1A North
  2. Stay on Route 1A north for approximately 7 miles until you reach the ocean rotary. Go around the rotary to 2nd exit onto The Lynnway. The ocean should be on your right. Remain on the Lynnway for approximately 1.2 miles.
  3. Turn left on Ocean Street (landmark is the “entering Swampscott sign” or a large mobile LED sign that has information for the city of Swampscott). Turn left onto Ocean Street. If you reach Red Rock Bistro, you have gone too far.
  4. Ocean street turns into 129E/Eastern Avenue. Travel west on Eastern Avenue for approximately .6 miles.
  5. Turn right at Essex Street (4 way traffic light- Nina’s market on the corner)
  6. Take your second left onto Bessom Street
  7. The school is on your right as you drive down Bessom - in the building to the left of The Holy Family Church as you face the church.
  8. Please park on the perimeter as the parking lot is our sports area.
  9. When you enter the school, the office is the first door on the left.
DRIVING via Route 128
  1. Take 128 North.
  2. Take exit 44B towards Route 1/Rt 129/Danvers. Keep right and stay on ramp towards 129 Lynn/Swampscott.
  3. At the rotary, take 2nd exit onto Route 129 Lynn/Swampscott.
  4. At 3.6 miles turn left onto Route 107, Western Ave.
  5. At .7 miles turn right onto Rt. 129, Eastern Ave.
  6. At lights turn left onto Essex Street.
  7. Take next left onto Bessom Street after Dee's Convenience Store.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
  1. From North Station, Boston, take the Newburyport or Rockport Line Northbound MBTA Commuter Rail.
  2. Get off at Swampscott. As you exit the train, walk north towards the intersection.
  3. At the cross street of Railroad and Burrill, turn left onto Burrill Street and walk under the train overpass.
  4. Walk .1 mile to Essex St and take a left onto Essex.
  5. Walk .3 mile on Essex St. You will pass a "Welcome to Lynn" sign.
  6. After you pass the sign, take your first right onto Bessom Street.
